What is TNR?
TNR or Trap-Neuter-Return is the most humane way of reducing the feral and neighborhood cat population.
Stray or feral cats from neighborhoods or colonies are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated by a vet, and then returned to their respective neighborhood or colony (or to a new location if the previous one was unsafe or dangerous).
Through TNR, we reduce the feral cat population by preventing pregnancies, which in turn reduces the number of kittens born into a world where suffering is prevalent and their chances of survival are slim.
A successful TNR story! Asstrid being released back to her neighborhood.
